Entertainment Awards in Chicago, USA.
The awards, the second since its inception, came off on October 27, 2012, at the McCormick auditorium in Chicago and would see Efya’s face-off with other musicians such as Lady Aqua, Titi Lo’Kei, Chelle, Dencia and Willy Jay for the Best Female Artist award.
The Afro Entertainment Awards was meant to recognize deserving personalities who excelled in their fields of endeavour in the previous year.
Efya, who won Best Female Vocalist of the year award at the 2011 Ghana Music Awards, has over five awards to her credit.
Efya was discovered through Charterhouse’s Stars of the Future reality show.
